No idea what got me thinking about prostrate cancer (or sex for that matter!) in the middle of my walk but that's exactly what I did.
Boot, the middle of the Bros Lloyd, was telling me when we last met that medical science had identified that frequent sex resulted in a significant lowering of the risk of cancer of the prostrate.
No less an institution than the Boston University of Public Health found that ejaculating 21 or more times a month reduced the risk of developing prostate cancer by 22 percent for those aged 40-49 and by 19 percent for those aged 20 to 29.
So the next time you feign a headache think long and hard about the effect it might be having on your health. Headache or cancer - know where my preference lies.
Can there be any more enjoyable way of reducing a cancer risk? If there is please let me know.
Now off you pop (pardon the pun), time to talk to your partner about the life saving role they are performing and how they can do a better job!
