'Change is as good as a holiday.' Really?

To be honest I am not so sure. Change can be invigorating but usually only when that change is occasioned on one's own terms.

We found out last week that our home, which we rent, is being sold. Change of home is therefore inevitable and I am certainly not looking forward to it. For one we have only just worked out where our slippers belong, For two I have really enjoyed the house and the local walks. For three I like the convenience of the location and yes, the change from our home of the previous 5 years which was pretty isolated.

We have landed on our feet with all our previous homes, here's hoping this change is one for the best.

That said methinks whoever said 'change was as good as a holiday' must have had some fairly lousy holidays!
