Sydney thank you for the sun!

I asked my big little bro Rog if he would send me some of Sydney's sun as a Chrissy present when we met in London at New Year and guess what? He has only gone and done it! But I didn't mean for you to swap weather.

Sydney has had 49 days of rain since the start of the year, with a total of 622 mm falling and we have had a grand total of 172 mm of precipitation over 62 days. OK slightly more rainy days but far less of the wet stuff and it has been their summer and our mizzly winter..

So for all those who quiz me on how we could possibly have left Australia to make England home there's your answer - I was happy to take the punt that climate change would see England warm, and dry, up and Oz suffer wetter, hotter weather!

So far so good
